Goa Offers VOA for 43 Countries

Goa offers Visa on Arrival facility to 43 Countries with validity of 30 days which can be increased by the permission of Embassies. The state government Minister said that they have been doing   follow- up with the Centre Government for the facility of VOA and decision on which has finally been taken by the Central Government. State Government seems to be very confident about the new facility and confident that it will bring more tourists to visit Goa and the total percentage will increase by 15% from recent tourist count which is 5 lakhs to 1 million during this current season. The state government also wants that marketing about the VOA facility should be done in all 43 Countries to make the tourist aware about it. Delhi High Court slams Municipal Corporations for wasting public money

Delhi High Court slams Municipal Corporations for wasting public money and said that they should remove the 60,000 safai karamcharis if they are not able to do their jobs, As they are nearly invisible in the areas assigned to them for cleaning. A petition was file by the NGO Nyay Bhoomi on the condition of poor state of public toilets, infrastructure and condition in institutions. MCD tried to assure the court that biometric systems have been installed for tchecking the attendance of the safai karamcharis on that High Court asked that are how they monitoring the work done by them and do they have any mechanism to check the cleaning  work done, as they assigned municipal areas still look unclean and they should check the private organizations where employees keeps cleaning are are totally different. Vehicles older than 15 years will banned in Delhi

The NGT in Delhi has ordered to ban the Diesel and petrol vehicles which are older than 15 years. The decision was taken in to curb the increasing air pollution in the City. There are several other orders which the court has passed which will help to lower down the Delhi’s air pollution as it with each passing the air pollution is getting worse. Over loaded truck will also not be allowed to enter City area. The order was given by the court in reply to the PIL filed early this year regarding the measure for Air pollution. Other orders like burning of waste material and plastic will be banned and RTO is also asked by the court to tow away the older vehicles which are parked in the public area and to be challaned by the RTO. No More Loose Cigarettes will be sold

Soon loose cigarettes will not be sold as J P Nadda who is a health minister of India has said that they agree with decision and has given it in written to the cabinet ministers. Age to buy tobacco product may also change from 18 years to 25 years. Nearly half of the tobacco users dies which is very alarming for anyone. The top companies in India which will be affected will be ITC, Philips India, Godfrey these are the biggest players in India who has got the biggest market share in tobacco products which are sold in various forms. Studies also shows that nearly 70 % of the total sales of cigarettes is from loose as mostly people do not buy whole pack of cigarettes which cost from Rs 60 – Rs 200. This is one of the great decision which is taken by the Modi Government as it will have a major impact in smoking. Still loose cigarettes are available in the market you can buy them anywhere.

300 Lower court judges are under the scanner of the High court for miss – using the fund allotted for the purchase of new systems

New Delhi: 300 Lower court judges are under the scanner of the High court for miss – using the fund allotted for the purchase of new systems, computers, laptops, I pad. High Court has made a special panel to probe the matter. The fund of Rs1.1 lakh was allotted to each person in 2013 to upgrade or buy new systems so that they can solve the pending cases and dispose them, but nearly 300 people were found by the vigilance inquiry that they bought TV, Home Theatre instead of the Computers. This fund was given by the Delhi Government. Memos were issued to all of them   to fill the information regarding the purchases, vendor details, bank details many have already   submitted the details. China Builds dam on Brahmaputra River

China Builds up a dam in Brahmaputra river and India seems to be satisfied by the explanation given by the Chinese Government. They have built this dam in Tibet area which will be greatly impacted by the disturbances created by the dam on ecology of the area which will lead to the disasters like landslides and flash floods. Millions of people from Arunachal Pradesh in India will be impacted by this dam made by the Chinese. Nearly 1.5 dollars have been spent on one phase which will be functional from Sunday and start the electricity production other 4 phases will be completed after next year. Environmentalist are against this decision of making this dam by Chinese and are saying that there is no need to build up this dam as that region do not have heavy industrialization and needs less electricity.
