Goa offers Visa on Arrival facility to 43 Countries with
validity of 30 days which can be increased by the permission of Embassies.
The state government Minister said that they have been
doing follow- up with the Centre Government
for the facility of VOA and decision on which has finally been taken by the
Central Government. State Government seems to be very confident about the new
facility and confident that it will bring more tourists to visit Goa and the
total percentage will increase by 15% from recent tourist count which is 5
lakhs to 1 million during this current season.
The state government also wants that marketing about the VOA
facility should be done in all 43 Countries to make the tourist aware about it.
Goa has already made facility workable since yesterday for
43 Countries and the countries are Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Cook
Islands, Djibouti, Fiji, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Jordan,
Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Luxembourg, Marshal Islands, Mauritius, Mexico,
Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue Island, Norway, Oman, Palau,
Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russia, Samoa,
Singapore, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Tonga, Tuvalu, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Vanuatu
and Vietnam.
Customers can take the benefit and
apply for the VOA and service can be activated within 96 hours for 30 days.
