An innocent 4 year old girl from East Delhi was raped by her
neighbour who also tried to kill her after committing such a hateful crime.
She is currently in a hospital where doctors have told that
her condition is critical, meanwhile the 26 year old accused has been arrested
and kept in the jail.
She lives with her parents in Kalyanpuri and her parents are
both working in a private company, she used to stay at her with her grandmother
in absence of her parents on the 2nd floor of a building in which
the accused also used to live.
This
horrific incident took place on Saturday afternoon when the girl was sleeping
beside her grandmother and the accused took her silently from the room.
When he
tried to molest the girl she started screaming but the accused shut her mouth
and gagged her and when he found that he was not able to manage the situation
he strangulated her after that she became unconscious and the accused thought
that she died and then he decided to dump her outside the residential building
but the problem was that there were too many people in the area and he could be
caught while doing so he changed his plan and again went back to her house to
drop her and secretly return to his room.
Fortunately
this time her grandmother was awake and she was already looking for the girl
and raised and alarm. Later she saw the accused coming back carrying the girl
in unconscious state and also bleeding from her private parts.
Then the
local people caught the accused and thrashed him meanwhile the girl was rushed
to the hospital where the doctors admitted her in a critical condition.
The
hospital authorities called the police and told them about the case and when
the police team reached back the building locals handed over the accused to
them.
He was
arrested immediately and booked under Indian Penal Code under rape section, attempt
to murder and criminal intimidation and provisions of protection of children
from sexual offenses Act.
