Then he got in the car with one more accused Anirban Bhattacharya and other supporters and all media representatives were present over there but the student made a human chain and did not allow them to come inside the administrative block and kept the waiting outside on the road. When the police took them to the unknown location the other students who were left behind started raising slogans against the Government's action of arresting the JNU students for raising slogans against India and also for slapping of Kanhaiya Kumar outside the court.
Till now the JNU teachers and VC were not allowing the police to enter the college and arrest these accused as they wanted to form internal committee which could solve this problem but they were not able to understand that now it is not internal issue of the University but it is the National matter and these accused students have gone ahead of being just students.
So it is not like that Umar Khalid has made up this decision of surrendering himself to the police but the High Court asked him to do so because he never wanted to surrender himself to the police instead he appealed in the court that he would like to surrender himself their in the court and on his appeal the court said that he cannot take this decision and police force has the authority arrest him or he should surrender himself to them.
And now the students are blaming that the administration of University is not able to save the students. I am not able to understand that how can they even expect this thing from the University? do they think that the University is above court, police or is the highest authority which can allow the terrorism activities in the heart of the city.
So far Umar Khalid and Anir Bhattacharya have surrendered them but the police has filed case against 5 people and other three are still hiding themselves.
Now the question is if they had so much guts to speak against India and raise anti India slogan then why are they afraid now?
