Have you ever wished to see the Buckingham Palace of Queen Elizabeth II

Here is good news for you as Google has come up with a very good solution to fulfill this dream. Google has made it possible for the web surfers to check inside the interiors of the Queen’s home through virtual reality tour. This service was launched in Wednesday which will show the primary residence of Queen Elizabeth with option of 360 degree photos of few richly decorated rooms of the palace.

It is a 3D 360 degree tour which can be viewed on a PC or mobile phone thorough official website British Monarchy which is a You Tube channel.

The shooting is done in such a way that the Master of household will welcome you and then the visitors will guided by curator Anna Reynolds who will show you the lavish chambers including the throne room.

And when the video is about to end visitors will also be shown the secret door through which queen arrives at receptions.

It was also told that the programme that it was intended for school going children and was created under Google’s Expedition programme.

The manager of Expedition’s programme, Jenifer Holland launched the tour at an event in London with pupils from a school in East London.

She said “We asked them, if you could go anywhere in the world where would you want to go and they replied Buckingham Palace," The photos for the tour were taken last week with a 16-camera rig placed in a circle.

One of the interesting parts of this programme is that you can see the video with a help of a smartphone and a cardboard to check out the 3D view of ten minutes video.
