China: the court has executed a
primary school teacher who allegedly raped 26 minor girl students in GAnsu
province. He has been identified as Li Jishun who is a former primary school
teacher.
The intermediate people's court of
Tiamshui city passed death sentence for him after the supreme approved the the
death penalty. The court found that he has sexually abused about 26 girls aging
from 4 years to 11 years when he was a teacher from 2011 to 2012.
He used to assault then in
dormitories or classrooms as reported by stated run Xinhua news agency.
The court observed that he has caused
extremely negative social impact and this is also a maim reason that the court
has given the heaviest punishment as said by the court judge of the supreme
court.
The supreme court alaonsaid that in
recne years the child abuse sex cases are on rise as currently there are 7000
plus cases which are currently being handled by the courts across China from
2012 to 2014.
The supreme court also passed orders
in four other similar cases involving sexual assault of mjnors. In one care out
of the four a man raped a five year old girl in a school premises and the court
ordered a death sentence but with a two year reprieve.
