Google play store has removed the popular camscanner app. This step was taken by Google while doing a vigilant approach towards removing those apps which are of malware nature and are harmful to the downloaders. Camscanner is a popular scanning App which converts the photos of PDF and Word format but it was found that it contains malware which could seed advertisements and ask the users to signup for the paid services. Kaspersky researchers were looking into the matter and checked Camscanner App's recent versions which contain a malicious module.
