Hamid Nihal Ansari Comes back to India from Pakistan

Hamid Nihal Ansari, an Indian software engineer has finally come back to India after spending six years in Pakistan jail. Today he met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and told her about his experience in Pakistan.

Hamid's mother hugged Sushma Swaraj and expressed her gratitude over her son's return. She said that India is great and Sushma Swaraj is also great with teary eyes.

Hamid had a difficult phase in a Pakistani jail where he was confiscated for 6 years. India continuously pressurized Pakistan over his trial and sent 96 notes verbales to have consular access to Ansari.

He was arrested in 2012 on the charges of illegally entering Pakistan from Afghanistan and it was also claimed that he went to Pakistan to meet a girl whom he had an online friendship.
His jail term ended on 5h December but could not come back to India because his legal documents were not complete.

Fortunately on Thursday Peshawar High Court asked the Pakistani Government to send him back within a month.
