How to get duplicate driving license in Delhi

Earlier the process of obtaining a duplicate license was quite hard but now most of the process of obtaining a duplicate license and other license and RC related services is online which saves a lot of time and you do not even need to use the services of the mediators.

If you have lost you license or need to replace the older license with the new one then you just need a copy or printout of the application submitted at the police station and if you do not want to visit the police station of your area then you can visit the below link to register an online complaint of lost and found. You will get an instant stamped file of the application on your email or it will automatically download on your system. You can also file an online complaint through mobile.

Click on the above link and update the information in all the required fields with. In case of license and RC documents do not forget to fill the license number and RC number in the description fields against them.

Step 1:
Now After you have filled all the details in the above form. A PDF of this lost report will automatically download on your desktop so, this document will regarded as the police complaint as you have officially filed a complaint of lost driving license, RC, and any other documents.
Take a printout of the above PDF as you will need to submit along with other forms which are needed to get you duplicate license from the licensing authority.
Below documents are needed for obtaining a duplicate license.
1. A First Instance Report (FIR) or NCR of the license, in case it is lost or stolen. ( This FIR requirement is fulfilled in step 1 as the same application PDF will work the same)
2. Application Form LLD ( It can be downloaded from the site, link is provided in the step 2)
3. One passport sized photograph. ( It needs to placed on the LLD form)
4. Address Proof documents for reference
5. Form 1 ( It can be downloaded from the site, link is provided in the step 2)
