Delhi Air getting worse even healthy people can fall sick

The air quality in the capital city of India is getting degraded day by day in spite of taking many preventive and corrective measures to cure the pollution, right from reporting the burning of waste material in the open and setting up air quality breathers and so on.

Recently the PM10 increased to 19 times more, and the PM2.5 almost touched eight times above the prescribed limit.

Now the situation is like it is not just harmful or affecting people with respiratory ailments but also a normal healthy person. So what is the solution for the problem of increased pollution?

This is December time and the humidity in the air has increased with the lack of proper winds, which takes the pollution with it and the smog has also started forming in the air, due to which the dust and pollution particles remain in the air for long and increase the chance of causing various diseases to the Delhi people.

The government and people should start doing something to tackle this situation of pollution, as people think that it is the duty of the government, whereas the government takes small steps in this regard and keeps on doing marketing over radio and TV posing themselves as the biggest thinkers and doers. But now it is not the time to think just about the measures to be taken but to start working in this direction; otherwise, we all will suffer from this pollution ghost, who should be killed ASAP.

The situation is alarming, and the doctors in Delhi have already started giving suggestions that parents should move out of Delhi if they want their Kids to live healthy lives without any diseases like nausea, throat infection, fatigue, and respiratory problems.

Diseases like sinusitis, running nose, sneezing, and sore throat have become very common due to polluted air in Delhi.

In the city there are about 22 lakh schoolchildren who are growing up with irreversible lung damage, which is really sad to know about, as everybody is aware of these conditions, but nothing much is being done. It has become a major challenge for the modern Indian cities apart from Delhi.

The Centre of science and Environment said that air pollution is one of the top ten killers in the world and also the fifth leading cause of death in India.

In one year about 10,000 to 30,000 people dies in Delhi which is a shocking fact.

The report was flashed with a title of "Body Burden 2015," which stated that air pollution is also responsible for 62,000 premature deaths, which are caused by stroke, chronic diseases, lower respiratory infections, and bronchus and lung cancer.

According to this report, we should start focusing on prevention rather than treatment, as the priority is to improve the environment so that the burden of disease is reduced and money will be saved for private and healthcare.
