Modi government has discontinued the two stamps featuring Indira Gandhi and rajiv Gandhi which is seen as a major step for all people in India as this time the government has taken courage to remove gandhi feel which has been imposed everywhere in India from airport to stampa which are mostly named after Gandhi family.
The government is also planning to launch a new series of stamps by the names of deendyal upaydhay, ramanohar lohia, jag prkash marayan, syama prasad mookerjee who were great personalities and never got the limelight what they deserves as all of them have given their effort for making better India and not just the Gandhi's who have done for India as they have been portrayed for more then 60 years.
This information was revealed through RTI.
This decision of the modi government is really appreciable and we can be sure that the country is going in a right under direction under his guidance and efforts.
In 208 department of post also launched a series under the name of builders of modern India.
