Sonu Nigam says Godess Kaali maa also wears lesser clothes

Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam has sparked a new controversy by saying that Godess Kali wears lesser clothes. He commented this in order to defend the Radhe Maa who claims her to be modern goddess.

Sonu has posted on Facebook that he have no clue who she is and he has never met her but in her eyes she is someone’s wife, someone’s daughter and many calls her their mother.

He further explained on his FB post that a country that worship Kaali maa who is depicted in the least clothes and he has been ok all his life with it so should everyone else be. He said that a country where mela called kumbh is held in which naked naga sadhus roam around and a country where Digambar jains who do not wear clothes or anything on their body for religious reasons, has issues with a woman merely wearing a short dress in her personal time. He asked how does the number and length of clothes on a person define his or her spiritual quotient?

He also asked that even Hema Malini portray as Durga dances in songs and on stage regularly so what is the big deal in it. If Radha maa’s devotees have no issues with her then why we be bothered. They see their god in dancing gurus and many see god in Sai baba idol or shiva idol. What then is a difference between terrorists who call everyone else as Kaafirs who do not follow Islam.
