Muslim man stripped and tied to electric pole for accompanying Hindu girl

In Mangalore a shocking incident happened when people tied up a Muslim guy from pole in a crowded market place just because he was going to ATM with a Hindu girl.

This incident was captured live by a local TV channels and after this police immediately reached the spot and arrested around 14 people and 30 suspected activist of Bajrang Dal group.

The man works as a manager in an accessory store in Mangalore and the women also works in the same store as sales girl.

The victim has told that the women asked for Rs2000 from him as loan and at that time he did not have cash so they were going to the ATM to withdraw money but some people who were carrying knives and staves caught in their way and accosted them.

The women managed to escape from the spot without any harm but it was also reported that she was also slapped when she tried to defend her colleague.

Activists of civil society have claimed that Bhartiya Janta Party is responsible for encouraging these types of activities because BJP has been in power in Karnataka from 2008 to 2013 and some Hindu groups have been committing such crimes from time to time.

However, the number of attacks did not come down even under the rule of Congress party.

In this incident the Muslim man was also stripped first and then tied to an electric pole.

Now he has registered a complaint at the police station against the accused people.

Even nowadays people have not become open minded in India and still trying to make these incidences as communal problem.
