WhatsApp’s user base in India crossed 70 million. WhatsApp is a famous messenger which can be found in every phone and has become essential need of every smartphone. Recently it was bought by the Facebook for $19 billion.

WhatsApp business head Neeraj Arora has said that "We have 70 million active users here who use the application at least once a month,"
He also said that the total user base for the company is 600 million out of that 70 million are from India.

India is the biggest market for WhatsApp which connects billions of people in market. Neeraj also said that WhatsApp will continue to hold its distinct identity and will not merge in the social networking site Facebook. Arora told that the user base has doubled to 600 million from the 30 million when he joined three years ago. "The founders wanted to develop a cool product which will be used by millions and did not have business things like valuations,"
