On Tuesday morning a 20 year old boy was killed in road
accident between Taxi and Truck. Three people were also injured when their Taxi
hit the stationary truck loaded with steel beams near Nehru place flyover.
Police has informed that Taxi driver tried to save a
pedestrian on road and lost control. He ran the car into the parked truck which
was carrying steel beams for Delhi Metro Construction site.
The 20 year old boy was identified as Vignesh Mahesh who used
to work in BPO and other three injured persons were identified as Sachin Kumar,
Saurabh Roy and the driver Sunil. After the accident all of them were immediately
rushed to the AIIMS Trauma centre.
The accident took place in morning at 2:30 AM when the cab
was going to Chirag Delhi to drop one of the three people.
The Tat Indica Taxi was completely damaged from front.
Police used cutters to take out the occupants; Vignesh was sitting in the front
seat. The police has registered a case of negligence against the driver of the
taxi and also booked the truck driver for parking the truck on the road.
