A white Tiger killed an innocent boy
in Delhi zoo on Tuesday afternoon when he fell in the enclosure of the White
Tiger which is an endangered species. Tiger mercilessly mauled the boy who is a resident of Anand parbat area in Delhi.
Witnessed claimed that when he fell inside the closure the Tiger was standing in front of him and the boy was praying to him for not to kill him but people who were near the enclosure started pelting stones on Tiger and made him afraid of the boy so in defensive mode he grabbed the boy from his neck and killed him. It took 10 – 20 minutes for the whole killing session by tiger.
As informed by the Zoo officials it also ate
some part of the boy’s head. Boy suffered immense pain when caught by the White
Tiger. It is very sad to hear that no zoo official or security guard was
present near the enclosure of such a dangerous animal. Zoo officials and
Security guards reached the spot after 20 minutes till than life of the boy was
ended by the Tiger.
It is still not clear what that boy
was doing near the enclosure grill some say that he was sitting on the grill
and others say the barricade grill was very low in height. Police has said they
investigating the matter and Zoo officials.
