Electric Shocks given to Women inside Poilce Station

Punjab Police tortured two women inside the police station. These two women were accused of theft and police took them to the police station inside there this horrifying incidence of giving electric shocks started.  Women were accompanied by the former sarpanch of the village who was not allowed to come inside. But after waiting for a long times he went inside and found the women unconscious and informed the people from the village who took them to the nearby hospital which later referred to the civil hospital; now their condition is normal. The police officer involved in the torturing has been suspended and interrogation has been called on for the case. These two women were not even the suspect in the case of the theft as no names were reported in complaint launched by the person whose money was stolen. Now the question arises how police can give such a dreadful treatment to the accused.
