Pakistani Minister criticized Mohenjo Daro

This is weird that now Pakistani Government is now after the Bollywood Movies and recently a case has come in focus in which a Pakistani minister was so disgruntled after watching Mohenjo Daro that he has demanded an apology from director Ashutosh Gowariker. He is a minister of culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Sardar Ali Shah, says the film has mocked the highly developed, 5000-year-old Indus Valley civilization.

He further told that the movie has not adhered to actual historical facts and is based on the imagination of the director.

He also criticized director and conveyed his opinion to the makers of the film and feels that the facts in the movie have clearly distorted facts without acknowledging the importance of the heritage sites of the Harappan civilization.

The matter of fact is that many of the sites are in Pakistan and are also included in the list of International heritage sites, with UNESCO taking care of them in the coordination of Pakistani Government.

Mohenjo Daro movie has done a decent business but at the same time, it has also been continuously criticized by several historians and critics.
