US agrees and says that threat from terrorist emanates from Pakistan

Washington: The United States has now agreed that threat from terror groups especially in the case of Haqqani network continues to originate from Pakistan

The US also dismissed the remarks of Pakistani National Security advisor, Sartaz Aziz who claimed that the Afghan based terrorist group has been almost wiped out from their Country which is obviously not true.

On Tuesday the state department spokesperson, Mark Toner said that they recognize that there is still threat from these terrorist groups emanating from Pakistan. They want to see Pakistan take additional steps to address some of these threats.

He further added that the Susan who is a National security adviser was just there in Islamabad and she had very frank and productive conversations with her counterparts about the continuing threat and violence in the region and ways we can best counter act it.

Earlie Aziz made a statement about the Afghan terrorist outfit in which he said that Haqqani network is no longer present in Pakistan and they have shifted back to Afghanistan after the recent military operations conducted by their military in the area

Toner also spoke about the Haqqani and violence by Haqqani group and said that they really want to double down, on trying to stop the groups from carrying out other terrorist acts.
