Prime
Minister Narendra Modi is in Dubai and good
news have already started coming as India has got a land f or building
temple in Dubai and PM has thanked them form his heart.
Now there
are more than 5000 people in Dubai who would be listening to his speech at the
Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The event is being called as Marhabha Namo
which is a grand public reception on Monday evening.
PM is on
two day visit in the United Arab Emirates where he would be addressing the
Indian people in Marhabha Namo event. It is expected that it may also turn into
another Madison Square like event.
It is for
the first time that a state head has been allowed a reception on such a large
scale. It is also found that the seating capacity inside the stadium is 30,000
and an additional 15000 will be accommodated outside the stadium where lots of
food stalls, DJs and two large video wall will broadcast PM’s speech.
The organizing
committee has also issued an alert that they do not guarantee the admission
online registration into the Dubai cricket stadium.
Various cultural
programmes will start from 3pm and PM would be arriving at 8pm in the evening
to address the people. The Dubai’s roads and transport authority is organizing
around 200 public buses to take people to the stadium. Stadium gates will be
closed as soon as the stadium is full and children below 5 years will not be
allowed to enter the stadium. Free water and around 4000 food packets will be
available for the visitors.
Indian counsel
general, Anurag Bhushan told during the
press conference that they are privileged that PM has decided to pay a visit which
comes after 34 years after the last visit made by the Indian PMLast time
Indira Gandhi visited Dubai in 198. And this time the standalone visit is
making the Indian community justifiably proud. And they want this to be a
momentous and memorable event.
One of
the members of the organizing committee Namo in Dubai, BR Shetty has said that
this is a dream come true for all Indian expatriates and they want this event
to conclude smoothly so that both the Indian Government and the UAE Government
can have reason to be proud of the Indian community here.
