Local BJP leader chased and shot in his head in Patna

Local leader of BJP in the capital of Bihar was chased openly and then finally shot dead like a Bollywood movie. This incident took place in the morning around 6:30am when the BJP leader Avinash was going for morning walk near his home.

Police officials have told that they have recovered a CCTV footage in which it can clearly be seen that there were three people chasing him on foot and then one of the assailant came near to him and shot him in his head.

The police officials have told that they have formed the team of top brass police officials who are conducting raids to catch the murderers and maybe soon would be able to catch them.

In Bihar the elections are due and before the elections this incident have happened in the broad daylight which shows that there is a serious law and order problem  in the city and state where anyone can kill.

One of the BJP leader who is a local MLA told that he was waiting for Avinash as they were about to meet and go to their constituency areas instead he received a news that Avinash was shot while he was going on morning walk.

This news of murder spread like a wildfire in the are and  the local residents along with other BJP leader staged protest and also blocked roads by burning tyres for few hours demanding arrest of the assailants and justice for the victims family.
