Five year old innocent girl sexually assaulted by 15 year old neighbour

On Saturday again an innocent five year old girl was sexually assaulted by her 15 year old neighbor in South Delhi. The police have detained the accused juvenile.

This incident came to light when the girl was alone at her home in cluster of Kishangarh.

Her father works as a cab driver and her mother is a housewife. On Saturday her father had gone out for work and her mother went to a nearby market when the 5 year old neighbor came to their house and he found her alone, then he forced himself on her and after committing the crime he even threatened her no to tell anyone about the matter and very conveniently left the home before her mother came back to the home.

This is not the first time that a girl child is being raped and it seems that the Delhi Government is still not able to work better in the area of security and it should make some tougher laws so that anyone who even thinks about the crime should be terrified. Unfortunately in most of the cases the convicts come out on bail after sometimes and that is why they take these types of crimes very lightly. The Government should intervene in these matters and take strict actions against the accused.

In this case when girl’s mother return back to her home she found that the girl was crying but she did not tell anything about the incident even after her mother kept on asking her the reason.

Later when her mother persuaded her more then she narrated the whole shameful matter to her and then her mother waited for her husband and he came around 2am in the morning and after that they decided to register a complaint at the police against the accused and called the police control room.

The girl was later sent for the medical check-up which confirmed sexual assault. And during her counselling also she confirmed that the accused raped her.

The juvenile was called by the police who also confessed that he had committed the crime.

A case has been registered under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and Section 376 (Rape) under the Indian Penal Code against the accused teenager.

It is really bad and I do not know what is happening to the society in which innocent children are also been sexually assaulted.
