A British MP has asked for Kohinoor to be returned to India

In the past Britain has been denying to return the Kohinoor Diamond to India which is the country of its origin.But there are hopes that it may be returned to the Country as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi would visiting UK to meet its PM and may discuss this issue also with him.

There are little chances that they will return because now it is a part of crown of Queen Elizabeth II and she may be hesitant to give it back to its real owners.

At once Kohinoor was considered as the world's largest diamond. It was found in the Medieval period in mines of Kollur in Andhra Pradesh and was initially owned by the dynasty of Kakatiya which placed it in a temple as the eye of the goddess but later it passed to various invaders and finally British Raj came and it was presented to the Queen Elizabeth.

Recently, Congress MP in India went to deliver a speech at  Oxford Union where he called for Britain to pay reparations in India for 200 years of its brutal colonial rule. And Vaz has supported his views and also welcomes his endorsement speech about the matter.

Kohinoor should be returned back to India as it is the original place where it belongs and  now the Queen should give it back.
