A meeting was organized in Muzzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh where it was decided that Minors should not be allowed to use social networking sites and WhatsApp, As according to them these are used to watch dirty pictures and which effects their studies.
Khap Panchayat is now opposed of using Whats App and other
social networking sites for youngsters below 18 years and demanding a ban in
use of mobile phones by them.
According to the Khap Leader Naresh Tukait Technology is
being misused and it is affecting the students. He said that it does not matter
whether it is a boy or girl they should be given mobile phone after 18 years of
age. Rahul Ahlawat who is a president of bhartiya kisan union district said
that youngsters use Facebook and WhatsApp to watch dirty pictures.
Khap meeting was organized in Shoram village where Ahlawat
said that mobile phone should be banned for the minors and especially for the
girls and according to him it is a western culture to use WhatsApp and social
networking sites.
Khap Panchayat has been giving these kind of one sided decisions without consulting any educated member and kep posting these kind decision on people.
